Spoke with our IAC coordinator today about the lack of letters going out and was told not to worry as more and more people are now looking up possible matches via the web. We discussed the use of the birthletter and he said that 30-35% of matches come from it.
ReplyDeleteDoesnt seem that much to me especially as we had to spend so much time designing and getting it right (thanks to Daemon Group for the help they gave us with this) in addition our agency has now changed the birthletter format from 2 to 4 pages.
Begs the question should we go through all the expense of redesign our letter or stay with what we have.
Feeling a bit down in the dumps today as had January's letter count and it was only 2. We looked at the offical chart from IAC late last week and theer seemed to be loads of possible matches for us - obviously not the case. I now feel that i need to perform miracles in order to get ourselfs considered for adoption.
