Feeling a little down ...

.... in the dumps at the moment – had an email from IAC (our agency) today and only 2 letters went out in January and combined with the 5 in December this obviously doesn’t make us feel that we are even being looked at for the possibility of adoption.

So I have dedicated myself this week to trying to get our networking going even more thru alternative options. Facebook is OK although I did think we would have more members by now (previous blog i stated that i wanted to reach 100 by the end of Feb – still 17 away.

I have found other sites that have babies up for adoption but they are asking for $25k+ which seems a lot to me but the thought did enter my mind about speaking to the wife about it.

Anyway its amazing how by just typing a few simple words out how you can start to feel better about things……… maybe things will get better for us from now!

Birthletter Status

We only had 5 birthmother letters go out in December so we need to increase the networking we are currently doing to spread the word.

This is my first ever blog and i am all excited about posting now and in the future as it is a new avenue for my wife and myself to network in our goal to adopt............

Many adoption connections (known as matches) are made through the efforts of adopting parents networking with family, friends, acquaintances and even strangers.
